Mike and I go on the Bernina Express in Switzerland, one off the bucket list. This was totally spoilt by Rhätische Bahn's cavalier approach to access. They removed the only wheelchair accessible panoramic coach from the train. Then accused Mike of filming them, and got the police to search his phone. Disgraceful, and totally wrecked our trip...

I attempted to go to Leicester - and didn't, thanks to EMR's broken customer information systems, a verbal error by a conductor, and further difficulties thanks to broken station hearing loops.

at King's Cross on 22nd May, Samsung were demonstrating their AI Experience using a bus with an electric ramp - which they had quite literally no idea how to deploy.

at Platform 1 at Hexham, one can either use the hearing loop for announcements OR see the departure board, but not both, because Northern refuse to move a car park sign.

BBC Look North and East Midlands local news, after I was unable to board a train at Chesterfield because the train stopped with the wheelchair accessible door opposite a post and the driver refused to move it.

At Chesterfield Station, the train stopped with the only wheelchair accessible door opposite a pillar, preventing my access in my wheelchair. Everybody else got on, but I was left behind because staff were not prepared to move the train slightly. The next train was an hour later. Such is life as a disabled traveller. in a previous video, I showed an Inverness bus driver's difficult driving, leading to him scraping the bus multiple times and then stopping not next to the bus stop, unloading me onto the roadway, which made the ramp too steep. ruclips.net/video/EntkGH9kjCY/видео.html I now have the CCTV from the bus, and it is alarming

Every time I attempt to access this hotel, I face the same problems: :- inability to get through the revolving door :- the ancient and decrepit wheelchair lift refusing to budge :- inability to contact staff to assist. Their commitment to "hospitality" evidently doesn't extend to disableds.

Would like to second the other commenter here - I am not disabled myself (though I am currently getting diagnosed with ADHD) but you do a great service calling out all this unfairness with transport and its often poor excuse for accessibility. Additionally, from someone who has worked in customer-facing jobs for a number of years (IT support etc) I am unimpressed with how a number of staff in the videos have spoken to you. Just lacking in basic politeness and good customer service which makes a ton of difference to help a customer's mood in difficult situations. If I ever spot you out on the railway etc I'll shake your hand mate :)
I feel so sorry for you. It's odd writing this because none of your other videos have comments. We all want you to get on in the world and there's nothing wrong with being disabled or gay. I have ADHD so I struggle to concentrate on something for a long time, and I don't care. You have done so well to cope and we're all with you.
